Jump off the temple<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Satan tempted Jesus in three areas:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>Pleasures<\/li>\n<li>Power<\/li>\n<li>Possessions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The same for Eve.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>They are: lust of the flesh ; lust of the eyes and \u00a0boastful<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Human nature or sinful nature?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>Did Satan tempts their sinful nature or human nature?<\/div>\n<div>The desire for power, possession, pleasures is a part o human nature. \u00a0Not sinful nature.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1John 2:15-16\u00a0<span class=\"verse v15\" data-usfm=\"1JN.2.15\"><span class=\"label\">15<\/span><span class=\"content\">Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father<\/span><span class=\"note f\"><a class=\"ng-isolate-scope\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/111\/luk.4.3#\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"footnote-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/assets\/footnote.png\" \/><\/a><\/span><span class=\"content\">\u00a0is not in them.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"verse v16 selected\" data-usfm=\"1JN.2.16\"><span class=\"label\">16<\/span><span class=\"content\">For everything in the world\u2014the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life\u2014comes not from the Father but from the world.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>But God put it in our human nature for his purposes! \u00a0What are Therese purposes?<\/div>\n<div>The motivate us to do good works.\u00a0God appeals to our human nature to want power, possessions and pleasure. Not on earth but in the future.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Revelation 3:21 is about POWER<\/div>\n<div>\u201cSit with me on my throne\u201d: RULE<\/div>\n<div>Revelation 2:26<\/div>\n<div>2 Timothy 2:12<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Luke 16:11,12 about POSSESSION<\/div>\n<div>Mattew 25:34 \u201ckingdom prepared for you\u201d since the creation of the world.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Psalm16:11 is about PLEASURE<\/div>\n<div>Pleasure<\/div>\n<div>Power Possessions is Foundational motivations for rewards!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Salvation is free and rewards should be get through work (Something you own).<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Matthew 5:11-12<\/div>\n<div>1 Timothy5:18 \u201cwages\u201d : you own paycheck, you own rewards.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Works is required for rewards<\/div>\n<div>The requirements for ruling and reigning<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Nikeo: the one who \u201cconquers, , I will grant him to sit with me on my throne as I also conquered and sat down with my wFather on his throne.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>REvelation2:26 is about POWER<\/div>\n<div>2 timothy2:12 If we endure, we will also reign with him.<\/div>\n<div>This has nothing to do with getting into heaven. (Faith alone)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Big difference having your name recorded in heaven and being rewarded in heaven.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Recorded: by faith. Rewraded by works<\/div>\n<div>Matthew 25:34-36 \u201cthe kingdom prepared for you\u201d \u00a0is about works works works. Not about heaven, it\u2019s about the rewards in kingdom.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Jesus repeatedly motivated us abut the rewards.<\/div>\n<div>Giving to the poor Matthew 6:3,4<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Praying in secret 6:5,6<\/div>\n<div>Fasting pray 6:17<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Matthew 16:27 \u201creward every man according to his deeds\u201d<\/div>\n<div>He is delivering EROI<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Some EROI will be Big, some small.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Matthew 5:11,12 \u201cthe reward in heaven is great\u201d<\/div>\n<div>2 Peter 1:10-11 \u201co\u201d,\u201drich\u201d welcome<\/div>\n<div>\u201cRICH\u201d. Some get so so. Some get RICH welcome.<\/div>\n<div>Some will have rich welcome and some will have a poor welcome<\/div>\n<div>We christians tend to forget that there is a judgment day for us.<\/div>\n<div>2 Corinthians 5:10 \u201cwhat you do\u201d: you own it. You are already there. Our judgement is about the reward in eternal.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3>Purpose:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To see how he is going to reward us<\/li>\n<li>Will we get the kingdom he has for us?<\/li>\n<li>Because some will have a rich welcome. Will not all be the same in heaven.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>These rich\/poor rewards result in teternal differences<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0More difference are seen in the parable of the talent in Luke 19:17<\/div>\n<div>Some of us will rule much\/little\/anything<\/div>\n<div>1 Corinthians 15:35<\/div>\n<div>1 corinthians 15:41,42<\/div>\n<div>\u201cSo also is the resurrection. Some of us will shine like the sun! Some of us will shine like the moon! Some of us will shine as a stars!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Matthew 5:19 least great.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Why? Based on the life we live on the earth.<\/div>\n<div>There will also be difference level in authority.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>LUke 19:17<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>What is the extent of ruling and reigning?<\/div>\n<div>A Romans 8:16-17 \u201cco-heirs with christ\u201d<\/div>\n<div>What did Jesus heirs? Hebrews 1:1-2 \u00a0\u201cHeir of all things\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>CHRist inherits the universe. As co-heirs, we inherit the universe! Give people 80 years to prove themselves so they can co-herits with Christ.<\/div>\n<div>Your life on this earth will determine at hat level you rule and reign.<\/div>\n<div>Out motivation should be examined:<\/div>\n<div>1 Corinthians 10:31 for the glory of god<\/div>\n<div>Matthew 6:6 store up treasures in heaven<\/div>\n<div>2 Corinthians 5:14 \u00a0Gods love compels us<\/div>\n<div>They are wrong!<\/div>\n<div>What priority should woking for treasures be?<\/div>\n<div>Jesus did NOT answer: treasure in heaven. Jesus said LOVE.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If we we\u2019re to rank motivations:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>Love God<\/li>\n<li>Love others<\/li>\n<li>To the glory of od<\/li>\n<li>Gods love compels us<\/li>\n<li>For rewards<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>I will to live eternity not just for 80 years.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1 Corinthians 3:12-15 \u201cfire\u201d is about judgement day!<\/div>\n<div>If any man\u2019s work which he has built on it remains. He will receive a reward.(Misthos)<\/div>\n<div>\u201csuffer loss\u201d : \u201cForfeit\u201d forfeit their kingdom! \u00a0Lose the kingdom in heaven. \u00a0People care more about your kingdom not God\u2019s kingdom!<\/div>\n<div>Forgot their kingdom, shine like a star not rule anything.<\/div>\n<div>It is possible to lose your kingdom! Even you go to heaven! \u00a0Lose the \u201cpower and possessions\u201d<\/div>\n<div>We shouldn\u2019t just play Christian GAME to be a good person! It\u2019s about radical obedience! \u00a0Jesus said, it is not radical but just obedience!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>What is God\u2019s formula to live for eternal \u00a0123<\/div>\n<div>We learn it by looking at the life of Jesus<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Deny Now- Gain Later!<\/span> <\/strong>\u00a0Jesus said \u201cNo\u201d to Satan three times.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Philippians 2:8-11<\/div>\n<div>Hebrews 1:3<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Deny power now to get eternal power:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>A eternal power: quit trying to do things in your own power and get down on your knees and Pray! \u00a0 \u201cPRAY\u201d \u2014\u201c POWER\u201d<\/li>\n<li>B \u00a0eternal pleasure.
