基督六家Awana Children clubs (3-years old to 5th grade) 新學年2023 – 2024 開始報名了！請父母親們儘早為您的孩童/青少年報名參加Awana新一年的活動。請由以上鏈接網上報名。
Welcome to Awana Clubs at Home of Christ Church in Newark (HOC6)! This webpage is for the Children’s clubs (3 years old to 5th grade) – the grade of 2023 Fall.
Last school year we finally come out COVID online mode and resumed in-person club meetings. Those past two years had put a lot of stress on our children as well as parents. Now we will rebuild the connection and fellowship together with our clubbers, parents, and leaders. FYI on the recent changes to our AWANA program:
(1) Our Awana will be an integrated part of the HOC6’s NGS program. The HOC6 NGS program covers our children’s K-12 growth in the church and extends to post high school graduate experiences. Super excited to see the entire program comes along!
(2) HOC6 will have a new and energetic youth program led by Dorcas Chang replacing the Awana YM program.
(3) Awana Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T program will continue and expand to cover offsite experience. For T&T graduates who wish to continue on Awana’s Citation Track Program, we will try to make special arrangements.
(4) 2023-2024 HOC6 Awana will start in the first week after labor day, on Friday, Sep 8th, 8pm-9:30pm in HOC6 church.
(5) Fremont school district switch 6th grader to middle school last year. We will follow this arrangement so our clubbers can have the same experience and group with their friends. This means our T&T will cover 3rd-5th graders, and 6th grader will start their youth fellowship journey. For any particular need, we will accommodate case by base.
With 11 years and counting, HOC6 Awana had grown into a big family. Especially for our children, the Awana is one of their favorite and closely bonded groups growing up. We are looking forward to serving your children and connecting to each other, and connect to the church.

This year we will have an annual membership fee of $30, due after the third Awana meet. Club schedule, material, activity, payment information, and special announcements will be available soon in the 2023 parents’ group.
