How can god demonstrate and display his glory for all eternity future?
Let’s think outside the box
Inside box:
- Saving us?
- By forgiving out sins?
- By giving us a relationship?
- Loving us forever?
- Sending his son to die for us?
Outside of box:
- By us ruling and reigning with christ in your EROI
Why aren’t more people getting involved in great commission
- A Christ isn’t Lord!
- B The great commission is not that high of a priority
- C.It is not a big enough return on their investment.
Cat:
- I prayed the prayer and go to church every Sunday
- Radical obedience NO WAY
- Jesus is already preparing a mansion for me.

Going to the nations might:

We need value EROI?
I am here to challenge that thinking is wrong. Many christians are confused with his teaching!
Mattew 6:20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Pleasure/Power/Possessions
We will find our answer in understanding how satan interrupted Jesus and Eve

B. Worship me and I will give you all the kingdom!

Satan tempted Jesus in three areas:
- Pleasures
- Power
- Possessions
The same for Eve.
They are: lust of the flesh ; lust of the eyes and boastful
Human nature or sinful nature?
Did Satan tempts their sinful nature or human nature?
The desire for power, possession, pleasures is a part o human nature. Not sinful nature.

The motivate us to do good works. God appeals to our human nature to want power, possessions and pleasure. Not on earth but in the future.

Luke 16:11,12 about POSSESSION
Mattew 25:34 “kingdom prepared for you” since the creation of the world.
Psalm16:11 is about PLEASURE
Pleasure
Power Possessions is Foundational motivations for rewards!
Salvation is free and rewards should be get through work (Something you own).
Matthew 5:11-12
1 Timothy5:18 “wages” : you own paycheck, you own rewards.
Works is required for rewards
The requirements for ruling and reigning
Nikeo: the one who “conquers, , I will grant him to sit with me on my throne as I also conquered and sat down with my wFather on his throne.
REvelation2:26 is about POWER
2 timothy2:12 If we endure, we will also reign with him.
This has nothing to do with getting into heaven. (Faith alone)
Big difference having your name recorded in heaven and being rewarded in heaven.
Recorded: by faith. Rewraded by works
Matthew 25:34-36 “the kingdom prepared for you” is about works works works. Not about heaven, it’s about the rewards in kingdom.
Jesus repeatedly motivated us abut the rewards.
Giving to the poor Matthew 6:3,4
Praying in secret 6:5,6
Fasting pray 6:17
Matthew 16:27 “reward every man according to his deeds”
He is delivering EROI
Some EROI will be Big, some small.
Matthew 5:11,12 “the reward in heaven is great”
2 Peter 1:10-11 “o”,”rich” welcome
“RICH”. Some get so so. Some get RICH welcome.
Some will have rich welcome and some will have a poor welcome
We christians tend to forget that there is a judgment day for us.
2 Corinthians 5:10 “what you do”: you own it. You are already there. Our judgement is about the reward in eternal.
Purpose:
- To see how he is going to reward us
- Will we get the kingdom he has for us?
- Because some will have a rich welcome. Will not all be the same in heaven.
These rich/poor rewards result in teternal differences
More difference are seen in the parable of the talent in Luke 19:17
Some of us will rule much/little/anything

“So also is the resurrection. Some of us will shine like the sun! Some of us will shine like the moon! Some of us will shine as a stars!

Why? Based on the life we live on the earth.
There will also be difference level in authority.

What is the extent of ruling and reigning?
A Romans 8:16-17 “co-heirs with christ”
What did Jesus heirs? Hebrews 1:1-2 “Heir of all things”.
CHRist inherits the universe. As co-heirs, we inherit the universe! Give people 80 years to prove themselves so they can co-herits with Christ.
Your life on this earth will determine at hat level you rule and reign.
Out motivation should be examined:
1 Corinthians 10:31 for the glory of god
Matthew 6:6 store up treasures in heaven
2 Corinthians 5:14 Gods love compels us
They are wrong!
What priority should woking for treasures be?
Jesus did NOT answer: treasure in heaven. Jesus said LOVE.
If we we’re to rank motivations:
- Love God
- Love others
- To the glory of od
- Gods love compels us
- For rewards
I will to live eternity not just for 80 years.
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 “fire” is about judgement day!
If any man’s work which he has built on it remains. He will receive a reward.(Misthos)
“suffer loss” : “Forfeit” forfeit their kingdom! Lose the kingdom in heaven. People care more about your kingdom not God’s kingdom!
Forgot their kingdom, shine like a star not rule anything.
It is possible to lose your kingdom! Even you go to heaven! Lose the “power and possessions”
We shouldn’t just play Christian GAME to be a good person! It’s about radical obedience! Jesus said, it is not radical but just obedience!

We learn it by looking at the life of Jesus
Deny Now- Gain Later! Jesus said “No” to Satan three times.

Deny power now to get eternal power:
- A eternal power: quit trying to do things in your own power and get down on your knees and Pray! “PRAY” —“ POWER”
- B eternal pleasure. Quit enjoying everything around you and fast! FAST
- C eternal possessions: quite expending your life on yourself and give it way! GIVE
God want us to pray, give and fast!

What Jesus could be saying: throughout the universe (where my father dwells) I am preparing a residence for you I a city or village where you will govern(rule and reign with me).
The questions is not about the size and the bedrooms.
The question: will I rule and reign with christ on this throne as od wants to. Will I earn the kingdom.
